Gary Chang's Milton ala Wiard (front view) FIlm composer Gary Chang's Milton is unique in that it is equipped with an internal four channel processor which allows an external voltage to offset each bank output. These offset voltages can be fully +/- processed, and does so BEFORE it is summed with the bank outs. When turned fully CCW, the offset voltage is scaled for 1v/oct response, allowing for easy keyboard transpositions of bank data. This blue faced Milt belongs to Bryan Carrigan. Notice the controls have been slightly re-arranged and squashed together from Gary's to accommodate the clearance for rack mounting. In Bryan's system, the dedicated offset outputs have been combined with the bank outputs so that the left hand row reflects that of the transpose/offset summers. This is one of two Milton's that Bennie has assembled from a kit. I'm not sure how big it is, but given that it conforms to the MOTM components spacing, it's humongous. Way to go, Bennie! The faceplate was custom made from blue anodized aluminum with laser etched graphics. Quite a show stopper. The standoffs were temporary awaiting his costom chassis.
